In 2018, its inaugural year, the Moody Fund for the Arts awarded grants totaling $150,000  to 36 small and emerging Dallas arts organizations. The recipients a) reflect the rich, diverse and entrepreneurial nature of the Dallas cultural ecosystem; b) embrace ethnic and culturally specific organizations, audiences and relevant subject matter; and c) support programming in Moody Performance Hall, as well as in all corners of Dallas, providing cultural experiences in traditionally under-served communities. The grants ranged in size from $3,500 to $7,500.
