In 2023, now celebrating its sixth year, the Moody Fund for the Arts (MFA)awarded grants totaling $400,000 to 65 small and mid-sized Dallas arts organizations, the largest number of recipients in any one year to date. This brings the six-year total to $1,930,000 distributed to 92 organizations. The recipients a) reflect the rich, diverse, and entrepreneurial nature of the Dallas cultural ecosystem; b) embrace ethnic and culturally specific organizations, audiences, and relevant subject matter; and c) support programming in Moody Performance Hall, as well as in all corners of Dallas, providing cultural experiences in traditionally under-served communities. The 2023 grants ranged in size from $3,250 to $12,000.
